The Boys in the Boat is historical book authored by Daniel James Brown. It narrates the story of the men crew at the University of Washington that headed to Berlin Olympics at the onset of WWII. It tells of the crew who came from shipping yard and logging background to win the gold medal. Throughout the books laces the themes of teamwork and perseverance.
